Perinatal Mental Illness & Emotional Support

Below are local support groups for those experiencing perinatal mental illness, or those having experienced the death of a child. Shipley Mums advises you to contact your GP first and foremost, and use these groups as an additional support.

Perinatal Mental Illness & Emotional Support

  • Talk and Grow
    • Peer support group for people experiencing perinatal mental illness (antenatal/postnatal depression, postnatal anxiety/OCD, birth trauma, PTSD etc) – children welcome
    • Fourth Friday of the month – 9:30am-11:30am

  • Wave
    • Peer support group for people experiencing perinatal mental illness (antenatal/postnatal depression, postnatal anxiety/OCD, birth trauma, PTSD etc) – children welcome
    • Second and fourth Friday of the month – 10am-11:30am

    • For families who have experienced neonatal death, stillbirth or late miscarriage
    • Last Thursday of the month – 6:30pm-8:30pm

    • For adults experiencing anxiety
