Postnatal Support

The postnatal period can be an emotional and intense time for parents, but finding the right support can make all the difference. Speak to your midwife, health visitor or GP, and they should be able to sign-post you to the right support. Most of the breastfeeding support groups above will also provide a level of postnatal support and friendship, or be able to sign-post to specific services.

The following may be useful during the postnatal period.

  • Mizan Therapy

  • Support After Neonatal Loss/Stillbirth/Late Miscarriage

If you know of any other groups/services offering support to parents during the postnatal period in the Airedale and Wharfedale area, or wish to correct a listing, please get in touch via the Contact page.
